Pinot Grigio (Italy), also known as Pinot Gris (France), is an extremely popular, versatile grape and grown in large numbers around the world. Although most commonly producing white wines, the grapes themselves are in fact pink. The naturally high acidity and blossomy-peachy aromatic quality in Pinot Grigio makes it a great match with food, particularly fish.
